Serving our communities and the world!
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” Mother Teresa
In Our Communities
Brooks Elementary - our partnership with Brooks Elementary involves providing gifts for a group of students and families at Christmas, supporting the teachers with lunch parties, and volunteering at events throughout the year. We also pray for the staff, teachers, and students regularly.
Community Sharing - we have an on-going collection of cans and other non-perishable foods to donate to our local food bank located in Highland.
The Torch & The Torch 180 - a food truck ministry feeding and connecting food insecure communities and skills development for developmentally challenged individuals is one awesome ministry we support Learn more about them and join us in serving together.
In South-East Michigan
Presbytery of Detroit - Being a connectional church, we partner with 80+ Presbyterian churches in the Detroit area to support a variety of ministries and missions, including:
Open Door Ministry at Fort Street Presbyterian - a homeless ministry serving hot meals and providing services and clothing in downtown Detroit. We raise support for this ministry through our annual "Souper Bowl of Caring" luncheon on Super Bowl Sunday, along with a yearly visit to serve a meal and a clothing drive each Spring.
Rebuilding Together - our church has sent out a work crew for many years to this community program that helps renovate homes in depressed areas in Detroit. A Saturday in April will be announced.
In the World
Presbyterian World Missions - The PC(USA) sends out over 400 mission co-workers in approximately 50 countries. We are proud to have personal relationships with several of them, but due to security reasons, will not list them unless allowed!
We invite you to print, fill out, and return an Information Card for each person in your family!
